It was the link from my usual site fs1e.co.uk, posted by neils which brought me here.
I am currently restoring a 1973 FS1E and just as soon as i know how, i shall post some pictures of my progress.
It's taking a long time to complete as by the time i get home of an evening, it is dark. and there is no light in my garden shed!
The majority of the rebuild is genuine, where the availability of spare parts allow, a fair percentage is pattern, but i have no problem with that, and the other parts are hand made. Usually in stainless steel, which is polished and is a good substitute for chrome.
There you are, a short history. I haven't even done this on my regular fs1e site.
