Today, at 10 am UK time, My 33 year old, rebuilt FS1E, Passed it's MOT!
She is now road legal and ready to go.
So, thats 18 months rebuilding her, and 24 years, since she was last on the road!

Just thought you'd like to know.

I had a fizzy in the 70's Neils, but not like this one. It was a Yellow DX, Kenny Roberts Speedblocks.
This is the Fizzy I actually wanted back then.

There is a picture on this site somewhere!

Thanks for that master lemmy!

The engine cases were bead blasted. This gives a smooter finish than sand. The crankcase were left as blasted! The crankcase covers were repaired and made good with body filler ans then sprayed and laquered.

It is a good idea to spend a good time washing down the newly blasted items. Any little bit of bead or sand left in the engine could cause trouble!
