All sorted -thanks lads - thanks Gino for your offer to help.

I took the frame to a locksmith -who eventually rang me to say he had got the lock out of the frame, I then sent the lock away to a specialist company through a Yamaha dealer I use and the steering lock is now on its way back to me in the post with a new key made for it. :D

oops Gino I went out this weekend and I have another FS1G with no key - lol
I went out and came home with two bikes. So another visit to the lock smith 8) :D
The red one is my ride for our Eagle weekend ride out event mid September 2012 and fs1eweb's Ace Cafe weekend event in October 2012.

The 1975 German 468 model Blue bike I have not made up my mind yet - I might use some of the parts for my 5 speed as the 5 speed is not a complete bike.
