Benefit of having a noisie engine: you don't need a horn.
Btw; how do they control mopeds in Germany? I mean to check if they run faster than legal.
In the Netherlands they put them on rollers and measure speed. If a moped goes to fast You'll get a fine.
They are very strict and can place those roller anywhere at any time.

*hihi* I still got no horn and my lights for directions work after long straight trips only for a short time...
Well good question....I dont really now because I ve no experiences...the police watches "us" but I think they luv us more, than make us trouble...old school bikes like these are very rarley here...(the whole scooter and co thing isnt so frequented like in the netherlands)..but i will tell u, after gettin chaught.
